Nursery Admissions
Welcome to East Park Academy Nursery, where we are committed to giving every child the very best start to their school journey. Our Nursery provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to become confident, independent and curious learners through play, exploration and positive relationships. We offer a range of funded Nursery places, including 15-hour and eligible 30-hour provision, with experienced staff dedicated to supporting every child’s learning, development and wellbeing. We work closely with families to ensure each child feels happy, valued and ready to thrive.
Nursery Session Times
At East Park Academy, we offer a range of flexible Nursery sessions to support families and provide children with a consistent and nurturing routine throughout the week.
Morning Nursery
Monday – Friday
8:30am – 11:30am
Afternoon Nursery
Monday – Friday
12:30pm – 3:30pm
30-Hour Provision
For eligible families, we also offer 30-hour funded places.
Monday – Friday
8:30am – 2:30pm
Children attending our 30-hour provision can stay until 3:30pm for an additional charge.
Extra Wraparound Care
We understand that families may require additional childcare support, so we also offer:
Breakfast Club (Extra Parkers)
7:30am – 8:30am
After-School Club (Extra Parkers)
3:30pm – 6:00pm
All wraparound care sessions must be booked in advance through the school booking system.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum is designed to nurture your child’s development in a creative, engaging and fun way, giving them the foundations for learning, playing and exploring at the same time. Our Nursery curriculum focuses on developing communication and language, physical development, early mathematics, understanding of the world, creativity and personal, social and emotional development. Through a balance of adult-led teaching and child-initiated learning, children are supported to grow in confidence, independence and resilience every day.
Our caring and experienced staff create an environment that is secure, supportive and inspiring, helping every child to feel valued and happy as they begin their educational journey. We understand that every child is unique and our provision is carefully planned around children’s individual needs and stages of development. Alongside developing the key skills needed for Reception and beyond, we encourage children to follow their own interests, develop curiosity and become lifelong learners.
At East Park Academy, we firmly believe that successful learning begins with strong partnerships between school and home. We work closely with parents and carers to ensure every child receives the best possible care, support and education. Families are invited to workshops, stay-and-play sessions and a variety of opportunities throughout the year to share in their child’s learning and development.
